Welcome to my new blog powered by Melody Movable Type 4 the same damn bash script I've been using for like two years.
Melody is the FOSS fork of Movable Type.
Unfortunately, Melody isn't up to snuff -- it has a hard time, for instance, remembering not to insert 'Pages' into the blog as 'Entries.'
Oh well. MT4 seems to be exactly the way I remember it.
I hacked up a css file for it -- inexplicably, there are no themes that don't specify widths in pixels --
and it seems to work okay. In the end I abandoned it because there were tons of weird, minor problems, and the codebase is large enough to choke on.
So here we are with bash. I'll probably port this thing to perl, unless someone knows of a mod_bash module for apache.
